Megan holds a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law with a Certificate in Corporate and Commercial Law. Prior to practicing law, Megan served on active duty for the U.S. Army as an Arabic cryptologic linguist. She has also enjoyed careers in law enforcement, public health, and professional snow sports instructing.
Megan holds a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law with a Certificate in Corporate and Commercial Law, a Master of Professional Studies in Safety and Security Leadership from George Washington University, a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Fort Lewis College, and an Associate of Arts in Arabic Language from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center.
While in law school, Megan was active in student organizations, serving as President for both the Student Veterans Association the Public Interest Law Group, and as Vice-President for the Venture Law Society. She was a teaching assistant for the legal writing program for two years, moving into the role of lead TA in the second year. She was also a senior editor for the Denver Water Law Review.
Prior to forming her own law firm, Megan worked in a corporate counsel and product development role for a Techstars portfolio legal tech company. During law school, Megan interned at several local law firms and organizations, including for the Honorable Justice Marquez at the Colorado Supreme Court, the Arapahoe County Attorney’s Office, TTEC, Fortis Law Partners, the Commons on Champa entrepreneurial clinic, and others.
